Stewardship of Financial Sharing

Financial Sharing is a component of stewardship that involves the giving of one’s money. We can consistently give with love when we recognize that we are giving to God Himself.  Giving should first of all be intentional. Because God loved, He gave. Because God is love, he also is a giver. He set the example of giving motivated by love.  An intention of love in giving is crucial: “If I give all my possessions to feed the poor . . . but do not have love, it profits me nothing” – (1 Corinthians 13:3).
