Online Giving

Check it out! You can now give online. The online option offers you the flexibility to make donations 24/7 from any location.  You can use your checking account, or a credit card as a recurring monthly gift, or a one-time gift.  Online giving gives you convenience and flexibility while benefiting the church because of your faithfulness.

  Follow down the left hand column on this           webpage until you see the online giving button. It will have a golden background color. Click on the button and it will open up into a screen that reads:  Simply Said . . Thank You   St. Bernard Parish – Appleton.  From here click on new users and create a password and login.  In addition you will need your bank account and routing number and/ or credit card number.  

Note: there is no charge for a withdrawal from your bank account. However there is a $1.99 charge to use a credit card. Once you reach the contributions page you can give toward your weekly/ monthly contributions and offerings, Renewing God’s House, Faith Formation Tuition, Youth Mission Fees and more.

Please note that St. Bernard Parish discourages credit card debt. For that reason, we prefer that you use a check from your banking account, or a credit card which is paid monthly.

Online Giving Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Is online giving secure?

A:   Yes, our online giving system, Simply Said, uses Full Level 1      PCI Compliance.

Q:  What will my debit/credit card statement show?
A:   It will show a transaction line item for St. Bernard Parish. 

Q:  Can I test this by giving only one time?

A:   Yes, you may test Online Giving and give only once.  

Q:  Will my gifts be included on my annual giving statements?
A:  Yes, our bookkeeper will send you a year-end statement of all online transactions and gifts by check or credit card. Your transactions are available in house for posting.  You will be able to see your online giving history that you make through Simply Said. Simply Said will hold your online giving history of for two years.

Q:  Should I use a check, or credit card ?
A:   At St. Bernard Parish, we want you to give to God's work through your regular income, not "charge it."  Online giving is for your convenience, but you should be careful about giving to the church on credit, unless you plan on paying it off that month.  Checks are the preferred method of giving online since this results in the lowest cost to the church. All credit cards charges will have an additional charge of $1.99 added to the amount donated. 

Q:  What kind of credit cards are accepted?
A:   VISA and MasterCard credit cards.  Remember that there is an additional charge of $1.99 added to the donation of each credit card donation. A maximum of $250.00 may be charged per day.

Q:  Can I give to the Renewing God’s House Fund online?
A:   Yes, you will have the option of designating your gift for St. Bernard Parish, the Renewing God’s House, Faith Formation Tuition, and Youth Mission Fees and more.

Q:  How long will it take for my online gift to be reflected on my bank statement or credit card account?

A:   1-2 banking days depending when your financial institution posts their payments based on their cutoff times.
